My Story
I started making videos at a very young age, and I can credit my dad for that. After watching him set up our home video camera while my siblings and I played, I finally got the courage to pick it up myself and at the age of 8, my life's passion had begun (the first video I made is under this for embarrassing proof). This hobby continued for the rest of my childhood, and once my teenage years came into frame, I knew that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

After graduating high school in 2013, I decided to continue my education at University of Winnipeg and in 2016, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Filmmaking. That summer I was offered my first career job at Running Aces Horse Race Track as the lead camera operator and from there, I went on to be the St. Paul Saints first film intern in 2017 as well as a camera operator for the 25th year documentary feature.

In 2018 I was offered the incredible opportunity to work for Star Studio, a TV studio inside of the Children's Minnesota Hospital. Everyday, me and my 6 coworkers get to make a difference in patients live's by hosting and running 10 interactive shows a week, as well as filming and editing prerecorded videos for our 24/7 channel. I have been able to direct, film, edit, and host dozens of videos in my time at the Children's Hospital and I am so grateful to have served the patients their for so long.

Alongside my full time job, I work part time at the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx as an in-staduim camera operator and in 2024, I became a board member for Minnesota Women in Film and TV. I am incredibly lucky to have a flexible schedule that allows me to work on other projects, as well as coworkers who encourage me to progress in my film career. Because of this support, I work freelance video, photo, and drone jobs under my production company T. Mills Films. The majority of my work is filmed with a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4k/6k Pro and DJI cinema 4D 6k, my photos with a Canon 5D Mark 4, and my drone shots are a mixture of the DJI Mavic Pro 2, Air 2S, and Mavic Mini 3.
